I'd suggest that you should become a functioning adult. Putting up a Youngkin sign isn't some act of racist aggression. It is them supporting a mainstream candidate. If that is emotionally overwhelming to you, then it might be time to seek help.

You should treat them with kindness and neighborliness just the same as you would a McAliffe supporter. You don't know if McAliffe slept with his ex or if he is ex-military or what. As someone who spent 4 years in Charlottesville, I promise you all the worst bigots 'have Black ("Uncle Tom") or Asian ("Uncle Tamagotchi") friends' or some on-paper not in-practice writeoff ("What? I'm an anti-Trumper!").

Terry McAuliffe isn’t doing himself any favors when he says things like parents shouldn’t control what their children are being taught in school. I’m honestly not happy with either candidate and don’t know what to do on voting day. They’re both appalling.

Not so strange. Masks have germs settle on them and kids breathing that for hours. It is a daily washing for the parents. Chance of getting detention because you pulled your mask down to drink water. Yes kids can manage, but it shouldn't be needed.

I'm 100% sure my neighbor voted for Trump and will vote for Youngkin. We're cordial because we need to be, but we're not going to be good friends. Thankfully they don't put up signs and neither do we.
