And you won't miss your pet because you'll be in the dazzling presence of God.
Well then it ain’t paradise. End period.
No, some people will end up in hell.

heaven? And stay their forever? What is the difference between your dog and a cockroach? Fun times!!!!!
Only animals that humans love go to heaven. If you had a pet cockroach, you will find it when you die and go to heaven.

Well that is pretty terrible for all the unloved pets that are born and euthanized every year. Are they consigned to hell with the rest of the sinners?
People make up comforting stories about their beloved pets and don't care or think about all the other dead animals.
I mean would you want to be greeted by strangers when you go to heaven? Or would you first want to see your beloveds?

The worst take on this question I think I've ever seen was in the children's book God Needed a Puppy, where a little kid's dog dies because God killed it to take it to heaven and give it to a different kid who had recently died and wanted a puppy. Our kid got a copy and after I previewed it, I hid it. I should probably just throw it out.
I have no idea what happens to animals who die, but considering the question definitely drives some really terrible theology.

Ever heard of a bad NDE? I haven't.

My cousin did. He saw a vision of Hell. It changed his life. He didn’t become religious, but he did make amends with a number of people he had hurt.
