And all the non college educated white men and the Hispanics and black men who are coming over to the Republican Party recently will stay home. Rockefeller Republicans are a non-starter these days.
DeSantis seems to have some appeal to classic Republicans but also does not alienate Trump’s base like Romney and Haley. He would have a much better chance of winning a primary than Romney.

+1. LOL at this idea.
And please stop it with "Nikki Haley is a woman of color." Nikki Haley is to Indians as Ted Cruz is to Hispanics.
I see. You give up any claim on a race or cultural heritage when you start thinking for yourself and decide you’re not a Democrat.

I voted for Biden. I now think he’s insane for trying to tax rich people and want to vote Republican. I don’t want a batsht Trump type. Wtf. This is how republicans are polling? Fking idiots. Can we get someone sane and moderate? Someone who wants low taxes but is socially liberal? Ugh. Idiots.
NP. Trump wouldn’t be my choice but you can’t say that Biden is always more liberal than republicans. There’s nothing “liberal” about literally forcing people to get something injected into their body. We may agree with it now but is this really the precedent you want to set? I don’t. What about if it’s something you disagree with next time? Remember that Democrats are going to lose big in the midterms. I’d rather keep our liberties, thanks.
What? You just wasted perfectly good space on the internet with your anti-vaxx post. No one intelligent takes you seriously. Honestly, ever wonder why you people are getting super sick? Take the fking vaccine you idiot.

Far more interesting is the D ticket.

When you decide to call yourself Ted instead of Raphael or Nikki instead of Nimrata, you are giving up your cultural or racial identity. They gave up their own claim.

It can’t possibly be news to you that the Republican base hates Mitt Romney, can it?
I particularly love Hannity’s quote here:
Lou Dobbs opined that “Romney is going to be associated with Judas, Brutus, [and] Benedict Arnold forever.” Tucker Carlson was so upset that he wouldn’t even say the senator’s name, explaining to viewers that the editorial decision was made “on the grounds that silly moral preening should not be rewarded with the publicity it is designed to garner.” Sean Hannity, adopting the Don Jr. “he’s just jealous!” take and concluded that “losing a presidential election ruins people.” On his radio show, Sebastian Gorka dubbed Romney a “skirt-wearing little pajama boy Millennial snowflake.” But it was Laura Ingraham who seemed to come closest to spontaneously combusting, calling Romney “the ultimate selfish, preening, self-centered politician,” calling for him to resign, and then, unintentionally hilariously, threatening to move to Utah to defeat him in 2024:
