DH and I both like the name but pronounce it differently.


I’m probably the only poster that will tell you what I don’t see a difference in either of those pronunciations. I feel like you get the “ny” pronunciation when you don’t enunciate Naomi or speak slurred or fast. However, if I had to choose one, for me the correct pronunciation is ”nay oh mee”.

I pronounce it Nay-OH- mee but my aunt pronounced her name Nay-OH-ma.

This is how I say it too. It would bug me to no end to hear all the Nay-omie pronunciations!
