Dogs don’t need any of that. We stick to solid brands and limited quality ingredients.

That's why I really like Honest Kitchen. Their recipes are simple whole ingredients. The fact that it's Human Grade means you don't need to worry about all of these feed grade recalls we have been having.

You do realize that ALL dog food is "human grade" right? It is a legal requirement.

This is how Honest Kitchen defines their "human grade food".

Last I checked human food is not recalled for having unsafe levels of euthanasia drugs in it or mold toxins.

Fromm has grain inclusive food as well as grain free. We fed our lab Fromm Large Breed Puppy Grain inclusive and switched to the adult large breed with grains after she turned one.

We do acana grain free dry with honest kitchen grain beef/fish to supplement. Ive always rotated orijen, acana, and honest kitchen. Dog cant do chicken and we use fish-based in the winter to help with her coat/dryness from low humidity in the house and outside.

No dog food is perfect. Try a rotation diet, that way you don't have to choose one food. Your pup with also develop a stronger stomach and won't get diarrhea when switching foods.
