Oh the lure of the party girl! I feel like every kid wants that role!
PP whose kid is at a different studio but is overly invested in this thread - I am curious why this role is so desirable! Is it purely for the costumes or do the party girls get more stage time? Some of the dance moms at our studio were comparing notes about roles and I got the impression their DDs were mostly interested in certain things from a hair/costume perspective.
They get a good bit of stage time and pretty dresses. I asked my DD why she wanted to be a party girl, and she said "because its the best" very descriptive 11 year old!

What percentage if the kids typically end up getting roles?
And they told my daughter we would find out on Friday, is that what everyone heard?

There was a thread about this a couple years ago (preCOVID) where it was intimated that being the kid of a big donor was the best way to get the coveted party girl role.
