All of Brandon’s kids were there with exception of Remy who is in Spain studying abroad and not allowed to come home. Brandon’s kids love Tina. It’s obvious to them and probably Brandons family that Brandon and Tina are a great fit together. I’m waiting to see what amazing empire they will build together. Jen was what she was because of Brandon. Imo that is.
Brandon has admitted to being terrible, so I’m confused by this defense of him. He and Tina seem like a decent match, but he also seems to still drink heavily and not be very anchored in his career. I’m the last 5 years he’s gone from pastor, author, non-profit director, handyman, high in real estate (starring down the barrel of a recession). He’s no prize. I hope Tina is as strong as he says she is.
Jen’s brand grew under the pressure Brandon’s troubles, bad choices, and betrayal brought to her life. Even when I don’t care for some of the recent changes in her platform (the constant sales of products, ect), I respect her enough to stick around and support her through this seemingly bumpy season. I love the recipes and how she still speaks out for the need for church communities to be more inclusive. Her work in this area has been strong and she has definitely made an impact on her audience because of her advocacy as it relates to Christianity.
