Is there 1 team per grade in HS or just 1 Command and 1 Highlight team from each region? Anybody willing to share advice - are there hundreds of kids there so we need to arrive super early even if registered?
Have you been livng under a rock? They created the Highlight division 2 years ago?
LOL.

I say Ben Reeves (Yale) and Sam Appuzo (BC).
And I called it! Congrats to both. Perfect choices by the foundation. Both truly outstanding players.
So did everyone else, Nostradamus.

Anonymous wrote:Great clinic with the Tewaaraton finalists today. I don't think they learned a tremendous amount of lacrosse, but fun to be out there and have the kids see some great role models. Players were super kind to the kids. Fun experience.

Our boys both tried out a couple of times, and it was a positive experience for them (no injuries). In the past, there have been lots of college coaches in attendance. In fact, we saw it as one of the cheaper ways to get exposure, even if you didn't make it. It is local, no hotel costs, lots of coaches on only a few fields (as opposed to tournaments where they are walking all over the place and may happen to be on field 12 when your kid is shining on field 2). Good luck
Thanks. Good to hear there are plenty of coaches. Glad your boys came through having a positive experience and uninjured.

One of the problems with open tryouts. I'd say over half of the kids I watched did not even have the basic skills or lacrosse IQ down, so try to make up for it with brute force.
