The killing of CB was up close and visceral.

Thanks for typing out the above, PP.
Just utter depravity and indifference to human life. With a CHILD in the home who then was forced to play happy familiy with her mommy's killers.
I am on the fence on whether she was sent to the closet to get the second gun or had it the whole time. I can see Brendan, as CB & JR lay dying (and his young accomplice maybe now scared and definitely in shock) suddenly deciding to make sure JPM keeps her mouth shut by making sure she is just as culpable as he is and directing her to take that shot.
I sort of agree, I was recently thinking that I’m not sure if the second shot/gun was in the original plan. I’m thinking that because of police/1st responder saying Brendan asked if Joe still had a pulse….I think after the first shot, he could have been worried Joe wouldn’t die and would tell what happened.
IMO it had to be part of the plan, gave her skin in the game to shut up. Why else take her to the range repeatedly and buy a second gun for her to use?
Pro hint, the bs about the gun being locked in the safe is just as fake as the lunches story.
A few days ago I was firmly in the same camp. I pivoted because this theory pretty much requires that BB shoots JR such that JR is incapacitated, but requires a second shot.
There are plausible reasons BB took JM to the gun range.. it's a weird couples date.. there are plausible reasons that BB purchases the second firearm. IMO JM was still all in on the plan before the plan went to south. I just think she didn't plan to get her hands dirty.
She held Christine down while BB stabbed her to death. There was no one else there so it had to be JPM. You are kidding yourself. That is way more visceral than shooting from a few feet away and CB was someone she KNEW. They went to the gun range multiple times in preparation for the double murders.

yea i'm a neighbor who moved in a couple of months before this. i really thought the au pair was the mom at first because she'd be walking with the dude all lovey dovey and shit. they were definitely not hiding their relationship to others in public.
Would you be willing to speak with an investigative reporter anonymously?
I'm not the previous poster, but I've known BB for a long time; my tune has recently changed, and I'd be happy to chat
Do you know of anyone who honestly thinks he’s innocent? Like is there anyone out there who truly believes him?
His mother is pretending to believe him.
Well, that was revealed to be a farce when she told JPM snitches get stitches.
Especially after finding out the mom has been living there (not sure for how long but after the murders) so knew that BB and JM were sleeping in the same bedroom and together.

What is unfortunate is the speculation and arguments over things that are clear from the court records. For example, there was endless back and forth about "no signs of a struggle" as well as how this might show Christine was drugged. But here is what prosecutor's set forth in court papers:
"Autopsy findings on Christine’s body are consistent with her arms being pinned down while she was stabbed once through the left side of her neck. An immobilized Christine instinctively and defensively could only turn her head away from this blow but this exposed the right side of her neck where she was then stabbed repeatedly, five more times."
While that is not proof at this point, it does establish what the prosecution intends to show about the stabbing.
My biggest concern is that the case may not be the slam-dunk that many here are suggesting. If Magalhaes does not flip, in each separate case the prosecution will have to demonstrate that a particular act was either performed by a specific defendant or that it was part of a conspiracy between the two. Defense lawyers for each could claim that the other one was responsible. From what we have previously heard from her lawyer, that at least seemed to be the direction they were going. Hopefully, the lengthy, painstaking efforts of police and prosecutors have build an air-tight case but we cannot really say at this point.
After seeing the things Juliana wrote in the Nanny group I can totally see her holding Christine down while Brendan stabbed her to death. Sick sick sick.
What did she write in the Nanny group??

Even on a laptop the document shown when BB is being perp walked is completely illegible to me. Thanks for details PP. Horrific crimes, and so completely pointless. So very sad.

…possession of the large knife that Ryan had brought into the home. Fingerprint analysts found partial prints on the knife for which the defendant could not be excluded. Autopsy findings on Christine's body are consistent with her arms being pinned down while she was stabbed once through the left side of her neck.
An immobilized Christine instinctively and defensively could only turn her head away from this blow but this exposed the right side of her neck where she was then stabbed repeatedly, five more times. At 7:47, Peres Magalhaes who was in the bedroom as well, called 911. But, it would appear that this call was too soon for this defendant, given what he knew he still had to do, and that call was terminated after just 8 seconds without explanation. We know Peres Magathes was in that room when she made the call, and we know much of what had happened simply by listening to that call. The sound you will hear in the background is a wounded Joe Ryan, still alive and moaning in agony and despair
Within seconds, 911 operators called back to Peres Magalhaes' phone but for some unknown reason got no answer from the co-defendant. Fully 15 minutes would pass before the co-defendant made her second call. The analysis of the Forensic team of experts in this case explains what happened in that 15-minute timeframe. The Commonwealth's evidence will show that both Christine's and Joe Ryan's body were moved and repositioned in the room. Ryan's knapsack was repacked with the items he had brought to the house except that the knife was not. Instead, it was positioned on the floor a few feet from his and Christine's body. His arms were intentionally positioned across his body as if in a funeral pose and then smeared with Christine's blood. This finding. specifically, is confirmed by the actual smearing pattern present and the location of a second gunshot wound, which entered Ryan's chest in a downward angle from 7-8 feet away and was found only after paramedics lifted his left arm to reveal that bullet's entry wound. That shot was delivered by the co-defendant during that 15-minute gap and killed Joe Ryan, immediately, exploding and ….. his heart. We know this because she confessed to detectives later that day that the defendant instructed her to go to a safe in closet, retrieve the second 9mm handgun, the same one that he had….. month before, and return to the bedroom and shoot Ryan as he had every reason to discuss circumstances which supposedly brought him face to face with a home intruder who was in the process of killing his wife, Instead made only minimal statements at the scene save but a few off-the-cuff comments which were telling in and of themselves. In one, he claimed to first responders that the 15-minute gap between 911….."

Apparently, the defendant didn't have much of an appetite that morning.
White the defendant parked and waited at that MeDonaids, outside his residence, a few
doors down in the cut-de sac, his co-defendant had not left for the zoo with the chitd.
Instead, she was waiting, as well. She claimed to police that she had forgotten the childs lunch and was preparing to go back to the house when, at 7:30, os Ring camera footage showed, Joe Ryan pulled up to the Banfield's. Peres Megalhaes told detectives he parked his car in the driveway and entered the home carrying with him a bag. According to cell phone records and Peres Mogalhaes statements to detectives, she was supposedly fearful and uncertain so she called Christine's cellphone, but it went to voicemail. She then called the defendant’s phone and spoke with him. The defendant called his wife's phone, as well. But someone knew there would be no answer because Christine’s phone was not where one would expect, at her side as she slept, perhaps on the nightstand, but, instead, it had been turned off and strangely placed in a drawer just of the living room on the first floor of the house, where detectives would discover it later that morning. Ring camera footage shows the defendant returned to the house at 7:37. Upon his arrival. he, his co-defendant, and his daughter approached the house but, as his co-defendant explained to detectives, instead of entering through the front door, the defendant took them to the side of the house, through the gate of the fenced yard and around the back where they then made entry into the basement. The defendant and co-defendant gave the child her iPad and instructions to stay there. They secured her there as they locked o child's gate behind them as they then ascended the stairs to the first and then the second floor.
On August 16, 2024 Fairfax County Police received two definitive reports from expert
Forensic investigators who spent over a year reviewing photographs of the bedroom as a
appeared just after Christine and Joe were brutally murdered as well as extensive tangible
evidence and certificates of analysis related to blood DNA end fingerprints. Based on this

Does the evidence now say (and is she saying) that she say the strange man arriving on the Ring camera and that’s what prompted her to return to the house and call BB?
That’s not the full picture, she was waiting in the neighborhood parked. She saw him drive-by and confirmed it on the ring camera, then called BB to say it’s time to get to the house.
