Schools closed but not movie theaters, malls, nail salons, etc. RIDICULOUS.
I thought he just closed salons and entertainment venues. Restaurants take out delivery only.
This is correct.

And as per his press conference, Liquor stores and breweries and wineries are considered essential. But apparently not school.

Incorrect.
I admit, after watching more it does seem he wants to close non essential business though we are not clear exactly what is considered essential yet. And without a shelter-in-place order it is still ridiculous to close schools for the rest of the year.

I agree. Testing has been pitiful in this area. This is a metro area with lots of international visitors. The numbers are way too low. Virginia Hospital Center is testing some people. How come other major hospitals in the area aren’t? Lack of tests?
It’s doctor dependent. I ordered COVID19 tests on everyone I admitted with a fever. Other docs only tested people who met the CDC guidelines. I don’t know how many tests we have, but I didn’t get any pushback with ordering tests, so it seems like we have plenty at the moment.
Are you in an acute care setting?
I’m in the ER
