I’ve only noticed kids that got cut missing from training. Top 16 players aren’t leaving these clubs for MU. Get real.
We never missed a club training to go to an ID session.
+1 - there are other ways to be seen. And we never wanted to risk the anger of the current club because DS was "found out" to be trying out elsewhere. Just because they aren't missing from training doesn't mean they are not looking.
How will those clubs survive when all their top players leave right after champions league for metro United?
Just can’t stop, can you? Metro United must have gotten in your head somehow. What is it about those women you just can’t seem to let go of? They want to compete and many of them have shown they can.
Compete in an appropriate league. Everyone doesn’t get a trophy.

They need to convince established players to jump ship. No one is going to come over with the same program. It needs to be different. I was most concerned about huge roster last year and mixed age group. Every now and again you get an amazing player that benefits from playing up but this is really rare. Thanks for whoever posted answers. This is very helpful. Happy to see this team evolve. The other set up just didn't work.
They are committed to the small rosters. They are only taking players that should be there. They have already started having those crucial conversations with existing players that won't make the roster.
And everyone will be playing at age next year.
Happy to hear about smaller rosters Only taking players that should be there? One of our dd is an 07 and we weren’t impressed by the players at the first ID sessions. Where is all the quality going to come from? Maybe fcv with all the disgruntled merger parents?

My child is great, if only we got rid of all the other kids on the team, shrunk the roster, and get some fcv girls to come over, the team will be great. But give all the credit to my daughter. She’s the best. Why else do you think the spirit parents are so happy fcv is leaving the area. They keep taunting them with ez pass references so the fcv girls will reconsider and go to MU.
