OP here, and all is well! Adrian's an energetic chatterbox of a toddler now, still healthy and growing well, following his big brother around.
He probably has more doctors appointments than the average kid, but we're grateful to have a medical team that's in full support of our decision to just let him be, and we're hooked into options for supporting him mentally/emotionally as he grows older and begins to understand the ways he's different from other kids (and also the ways he's the same, since there are lots of intersex kids in the world!). Beyond that though, life is quite normal, and we're all enjoying watching him grow up and seeing his personality emerge.
The kindness of folks in this thread during a scary time for me is something I'll never forget, and I'll keep checking in periodically, especially for other moms out there who might be in the thick of the same things.
