Do you think that will affect housing values at all?
SHOCKING!... that Tamera D-K thinks the school should still be called Stuart. Do you think she's going to be advocating for changing Robert E. Lee High School to something else?

Or simply Valley HS.
^ Says the person who is happy leaving all the many other schools named after white men in place.

She had a middle name, if you're going to reduce the name to initials. Isn't that how they use WTW?

DP poster here. Is that what this is about? Sad.
Here's the name then: Social Justice High
That explains the whole process.
Do you really think it is that important to name a high school after someone? What was the last high school in FCPS named for an individual?

From the beginning, she thought Thurgood Marshall was a good name--even though there is already a Marshall. (If they name it that, it will really tick off George C. Marshall community.) When I first heard it, that was the first thought I had. There is already a Marshall.
Did she ever think of a different way to present this whole process? Did she not realize the divisiveness that this would bring?
And, now, "Justice". Did no one even google "Justice High"? Did no one think of the connotation?
