The enraged liberal responses are so entertaining. Especially when they insist - yes, insist! - that they and they alone are right. Period. End of discussion. So, so funny.
You voted for a guy who can't even differentiate between heal and heel. Multiple times. He is a moron.
Like his IQ doesn't hit 3 digits. Had he not been given daddy's money, he would be one of those blowhards yelling about not having a job because some hardworking immigrant was smarter and harder working.
Are you 12? I don't know any adult who starts sentences with "like."
Are you anxious about growing older? Lots of posts about age....
Also, those are different meanings of the word "like." PP - the one who was asking if you're 12 - seems to think you meant it as the kind of Valley Girl verbal tic: "Like, his IQ doesn't hit 3 digits?" Whereas clearly you meant it in the more literal sense of, where the word "like" was a stand in for a word like "clearly" or "obviously." "Obviously his IQ doesn't hit 3 digits."
So bad insult PP. You failed on a number of levels, including among them your English comprehension.
That you actually think it's correct to start a sentence with "like" only proves the point. You are either 12 years old or simply very, very stupid. Either way, you really aren't in any position to be lecturing others on their "English comprehension."![]()
No, I am actually a professional writer with one of those blue check marks next to my name on Facebook thanks to my professional accomplishments. (Whaevs; I know that's a dumb detail to include - but it is what it is.) I know how to use the word "like" at the beginning of a sentence in various ways, and I also know you were being in idiot when you said that this version of it is somehow juvenile. It's not.
And just of course Trump supporters would also be both pedantic and ignorant about language. OF COURSE they would.
You're absolutely correct: that was an incredibly dumb detail to include because no one here cares about your resume. But guess what? Since you shared, I will too. I'm an editor for a nonprofit periodical. And using "like" at the beginning of a sentence, in the way the PP (you) did, is incorrect. Can it be done? Sure. But the writer will look like an immature moron, especially if they don't even bother to use a complete sentence. Kind of like a person who uses "whaevs," thinking s/he is somehow cute.

Yes, this has been a great thread. We are really pulling the curtain back on how awful the liberals have become. They've run out of defenses, and now are resorting to the usual - "stop siding with the KKK", "racist," "idiot," "poor little snowflake overreacting to being called Nazi sympathizers," all the usual name-calling and hateful accusations.
Join in. It gets especially lively in the evenings!
Yes, shocking that they want you to stop siding with the KKK. Whatever hateful thing will they do next?

Excellent. Trump idiot trying to explain "English comprehension" to me. Tell me more. Clearly you have it all figured out.![]()
Like, I know, right? Like, you libs are just so, what's the word? Like, erudite, yeah, that's it! You totally know how to write! Like, I never see *any* spelling or gramatical errors in your posts, dude.
Fail! Bigly.
Actually, spot on. You millennials just don't recognize how utterly annoying your speech patterns are.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why can't liberals realize that they could win moderates who voted Trump over to their side by exhibiting tolerance and respect, and that they drive them further away with their inflammatory rhetoric?
Who wants to win those dumb f*cks over?
You shouldn't ever have to convince someone to not vote for a crazy man. You can keep them.
And that's the attitude that will get Trump elected again. I wonder who the dumb f*ck (to use your lovely language) really is. You guys never learn.
NP. Your votes are contingent on hurt feelings arising out of anon board fights that you repeatedly seek?
Of course not. My vote is contingent on which candidate's policy preferences best align with my own. But if Im wavering because I could go either way, I will be reluctant to associate with a party that has made it clear that they vilify and will attempt to squash all differing opinions. That is a political approach I abhor and could very well sway me, all other things being even.
EXACTLY. Do these people actually think we're voting for a candidate merely to spite them? That we don't actually find at least some of our important issues represented by the candidate we vote for? They're giving themselves way too much credit if they actually think people voted for Trump just to spite them, and for no other reason. Clueless.
Yup. I'm running into this all the time. All I hear is "how you could you vote for that idiot"? Well.....because I'm not just voting for a person. I'm voting for a platform. And in this case, it was absolutely critical (to me) that we didn't allow Hillary to get to nominate the next SC Justice (particularly at the time since we don't know how the Congressional races would turn out.) The second issue (for me) was to start cracking down on illegal immigration. What has been going on in this country is beyond ridiculous, with the Sanctuary Cities and the entitlement of illegal immigrants.

Why is that?
Because if we allow the name-calling, horrific and cruel accusations, and profanity-laced rants to drive us away, they will have succeeded with their tactics to silence us. It's like an oppressive government that punishes people with dissenting views to the point they "submit" or no longer express those views. We cannot teach these liberals that mocking us, cursing at us, telling us that wish we were dead, and calling us racists is an effective way to shut us up.
It reminds me of a class I took. It was immediately after the 2012 election, and the professor (they're always so liberal, aren't they?), opened the class expressing his relief that the country was "saved" from a Romney victory, and went on to make derogatory remarks about him and the people who voted for conservative policies. It went on for quite a few minutes, until I was totally disgusted and left the room. As I walked out, I heard one of the classmates say, "good riddance."
Liberals will continue this tactic of trying to exasperate us, ridicule us, curse us....whatever....in their attempts to silence us. We cannot allow them to succeed, or we will have no longer have a democracy.
Keep fighting the good fight, PP. You are a hero. Truly, they will make a movie about your brave actions posting anonymously on an internet board where most people hate the man you so worship.
More liberal craziness. Who said I worship him? I don't even like him. My point was about the continuing accusations and death wishes (or in your case, sarcastic remarks) by liberals to anyone who voted for him - and for policy reasons. But you're proving my point.
OMG so much drama with you Trump loving snowflakes! Death wishes??? Are you completely and utterly insane, or just super dramatic and self-aggrandizing?
There have been several examples of liberals on this forum saying they wish all Republicans would be killed.
I challenge you to find me even one such post where it wasn't clearly someone just exasperated saying something dumb (like when a little kid tells their mom they wish she'd die).
You and your drama. Nonstahhp. Such a whiny victim.
Are you seriously trying to excuse death threats? By comparing a grown up on a political forum to an "exasperated" little kid?
Now I have seen it all.
How about if I said those KKK members are only threatening people because they are exasperated? You know, like a little kid? Am I being a drama llama for taking their threats seriously?
Death THREATS?
"I hope a virus wipes out Trump voters" is not a threat.
Here is where you retell the story again & again and it becomes something it is not.
I believe the poster said 'If I had a button that would unleash a virus on Trump voters that would wipe them out I would push it so hard it would break".
There were others, too. No need to repeat them here. The only one that really concerned me was the liberal who said she would murder trump voters if she knew she could get away with it, and the only reason she doesn't is because she might get caught. Seriously unhinged.

Amazing. One particularly demented liberal says she'd kill Trump voters if she could get away with it, and another simply liberal rolls her eyes. And to think they think they're the party of love and compassion. With very few exceptions, all I've seen on this forum from liberals is hate and close-mindlessness.
+100
Their representatives here on DCUM have made it clear, they are NOT the party of love and compassion. Not by a long shot. It's all a façade, because here where we're anonymous, we can read their actual thoughts.
I'm never voting Democrat again, now that I know how they really think. (Cue up.....YOU were never a Democrat.....YOU never voted for a liberal! It's all so predictable.....)

I know, right?!? Because the liberals are oh so respectful and tolerant, and have absolutely nothing but nice pleasant things to say - all surrounded by rainbows and sparkles.
Remember that they claim to be the “tolerant” party. Sheesh. I would hate to see “intolerance” if there recent behavior is tolerant.
Just look at their "mostly peaceful" protests. The violence and destruction is enough to keep me away.
Liar. Liberal protests are not violent.
DP. And you are very much the liar.
Prove me wrong with actual facts. Which liberal march/protest was violent? And, no, antifa & black bloc anarchists are not liberals.

Clap, clap, clap (standing up, now) clap, clap. BRAVO
Thank you. (taking a bow, now) I myself actually struggle with this. On one hand, I ask myself.....should I voluntary subject myself to more hate-filled and profanity-laced accusations, or should I just give up? As you see, I keep coming back to the same conclusion: that if I "leave the premises," so to speak, it will serve as confirmation that their outbursts have the desired effect, and that is to silence Republicans. So, here I stay.
It's ok to admit that you love the drama. Look at your verbose post. Drama, drama, drama. You love it.
Another nasty liberal who refuses to acknowledge what they're attempting to do with their silencing.
My DCUM Political Forum Goals for 2017:
1. Call out the lies
2. Call out the drama
3. Call out the racists
4. Mock the idiots
You shouldn't have anything to fear unless you lie, create drama, make racist comments, or post some seriously stupid sh1t.
Wait - you actually think we "fear" you calling us out? We'll be far too busy calling *you* out on your identify politics, hypocrisy, stupidity, and yes, lies and drama. You guys have perfected all of that. So... congrats?
Guess you missed the hysterical Trump supporters who were fearing that they'd be silenced. Or maybe you just filter out their drama. Smart move.![]()
