The entitlement to demand they be anything else or make up for the shortcomings of the entire DCPS structure is staggering.
Actually the only people with entitlement problems are the Ward 4 folks who think that they are entitled to a citywide charter in their backyard. A "Ward 4" school? Amazing.
A ward 4 school means a school located in Ward 4. Families from all over the city came to the Missouri avenue location. Everyone was welcome.
"Amazing" is you trying to twist that into anything else.

But they opened a campus in Ward 5 and accepted families from wards 6-7-8. These people add to the diversity of the school. Our children are entitled to continue their education at lamb and lamb has a responsibility towards them. I understand there is tremendous hostility towards this group of parents, but I don't understand why. They're not focused on killing the dream of a unified school, they just want to be able to send their kids there without uprooting everyone.
WTF are you talkning about? Families from every ward were always accepted, even before the temporary SD ave location.

But they didn't apply until the commute was feasible.
We just want to find a way to make the school work for our families. I recognize that you're a disgusting person and don't care. But it is the right thing to do.

There were families from wards 6-7-8 enrolled at back when Missouri Ave was the only campus too.
