I've been trying to figure out why the story changed so much, but when I watch the video it's pretty clear that they're wasted and probably can't remember exactly what happened. I'm sure Brazilian police see this happening all the time, but this time it was in international press and they had to save face. Except now they've made the situation a hundred times worse than it needed to be. The people they're accusing had left the country or were about to, without pressing charges.

This. It's been years since I was going out, getting wasted, and possibly doing stupid shit. I will say that Lochte needs to grow up. Unbecoming in a grown man. Maybe it's time to get a real job.
