Come off it, most teens have no interest in politics. They are under way more pressure than the average teen.

Surprised they act the way they do since Michelle is their mom and I thought their live in grandma is strict.

And, I have tried for years to find a way to move to Canada. I am so tired of the US - the capitalistic selfish shit, the military worship (excuse me - you volunteered!), the stupid anthem, the pledge of allegiance, and the "we are the greatest nation in the world" fiction.


Wish I would have mentioned this...agree 100%. They have my gratitude, but most of these guys did not sign up for the honor, they signed up because they didn't have any other options.

I've always thought people who enter the military are a little dim-witted.


Be happy they signed up so you don't have to go through the draft. My FIL always tells me about when he sat in an auditorium full of young guys waiting to hear if they had been drafted for the Vietnam war and how he and all the guys around him were sweating bullets.

this thread is fun and hilarious.

1. I think most animal lovers and pet obsessed people are total hypocrites. Why bother donating money to animal shelters when you are just going to eat some animal that lived in abhorrent factory farming conditions for your next meal.

2. I think Top Chef is a terrible show and the judges are all pretentious morons. I appreciate good food but they come across as total self important hacks. I don't fault the contestants though, they are just trying to hustle drive more business to their restaurants and further their careers.

3. I think men (and women but their are fewer) who drive flashy cars or loud cars or loud motorcycles do so because they are overcompensating for something they are lacking.

4. I think Game of Thrones is cheesy.
