She put herself out there.

She's all over the entertainment world.

Yes, people who do "reality" shows are complete control freaks and want to control their own PR from Kate, Tori, and Giuliana. Unfortunately putting your life on camera has some side effects and shines a light on things that deviate from the narrative.

ED families often have dynamics and roles similar to other addictions- addict, hero, scapegoat, mascot, lost child, caretaker/enabler. He very well may play a part in her addiction (I have no idea) and won't simply assume he's helplessly wringing his hands in anguish.

^^ good point. I haven't been able to figure out how he could stand by and watch, but this makes sense. Makes me think about the role he plays in his own FOO, especially since his dad passed away. Plus, he employs his sister as a manager/scheduler of sorts. Interesting. (Of course, I know nothing about any of them, I'm just imagining what could be going on.) It's so much more evident in the 600 lb. Life type shows that there's an enabler and a really messed up family dynamic. Not so much with B & G.

Hmm. All this attention over her weight....and a book out, too. Coincidence? Not that I'm a skeptic, oh not me!

Wow. In the dance picture posted at top of the page, you can see that she's fit; tight, toned muscles and a lovely, albeit small/petite frame. I'd even call her thin in that dance picture. Note her thick hair and the expression in her eyes.

Now, look at the last photo. Look at her eyes...just lifeless and so sad and dull. If eyes are the window to the soul, her eyes now indicate sadness (to me). She is positively skeletal now and I shudder to think how she'd look in that yellow unitard. Emaciated.

So sad! She was actually pretty before (and she is hideously skinny/scary now).
