If you fight fire with fire, you’re gonna get burned one way or another.
Correction: I want to vote yea to stop Trump, but will likely abstain. Condoning this is condoning MAGA tactics.
That sounds nice, but you need to realize that there is not a trick too dirty, no bar too low for MAGA. They will do whatever it takes to keep Dems from voting, so they can avoid repercussions for their actions.
They will spend 1.5 trillion a year to murder Iranian school children, while American children go hungry and can’t afford health care. They will spread hate and murder using Christ’s name. They will put insanely unqualified white men in positions of power while claiming the accomplishments of women and POC are due to affirmative action. If you’re okay with that, then don’t vote.
PP, you are off topic. This thread is about gerrymandering. If you’re good with it, then you have no right to complain about how MAGA goes about business. NONE. My respect for so-called Democrats dies a little more each week You’ve done nothing to convince me that this will be temporary (even if MAGA is extinguished) as it is currently being sold.
We lose either whether this passes or not. My vote does not matter.
We already lost when Republicans refused to ban gerrymandering.
The goal now is to limit the damage they can do.
OMG. Youve fallen into their trap.
Did you forget that it was the Dems who were against the 2020 amendment to ban gerrymandering right here in VA? Despite their push, it passed in a landslide. Interestingly, Arlington was the only jurisdiction across the stater that had a majority vote against it. So spare us all the righteous indignation.

So if Republicans are ok disenfranchising Democrats in other states then I’m ok disenfranchising Republicans in VA.
They voted for Trump, FFS. They have terrible morals/judgment.

Not voting yes is condoning Trump.
Voting yes disenfranchises the vote of almost half of Virginia.
They don’t care. In fact, this is their goal. They would prefer that the voices of any Republicans in the state be silenced.
I'm happy to hear that you are very anti-gerrymandering! Please write to your representatives in Washington and tell them to stop opposing Democratic proposals to ban partisan gerrymandering.
Which bill was it that democrats proposed anti-gerrymandering?

They are never interested in an honest debate.
They would joyfully fck over Ds any chance they get.
And you totally fail to see the irony in your post.
