Yes, there is a clearly disturbed person that means her harm trying to break into her car.

She was not impeding or obstructing. This is clear in the video. This is murder. The ICE officer need to to be brought to justice.

ICE officers are trained to never approach a vehicle from the front and instead to approach in a “tactical L” 90-degree angle to prevent injury or cross-fire, a senior Department of Homeland Security official told NBC News.

Officers are also instructed not to shoot at a moving vehicle and only to use force if there is an immediate risk of serious injury or death, the official said.

ICE officers are also instructed that firing at a vehicle will not make it stop moving in the direction of the officer.

I was thinking this also. It’s weird that she let one car through and not the other.


I think the truck could have made it around her, just as the precious SUV did.

She wasn't "parked." She was stopped. And what right does that ICE thug have to try to forcibly open her door and pull her out? I'd drive away, too.

Correct. I have seen videos from different angles and what some people don't realize yet is that in trying to drive away, the woman actually drove directly at an agent. I can see why she did that in a moment of panic and misjudgement, and most likely would have swerved away as she drove away. But in that fatal second, she was aiming at an agent, and that is when the agent shot his gun.

This is a tragedy and there is blame for both sides. But right now people really need not to get charged at fighting and blocking ICE agents who are doing their lawful job.

Protest ICE peacefully, don't interfere with their actions, stick to court cases and peaceful protests.


I thought law enforcement were trained not to get in front of moving vehicles/vehicles in drive? Aren’t they supposed to come around from the sides to prevent this, especially because people tend to panic in these situations?

unless you are deeply, personally in the tank for this regime - and obviously very many people are - you cannot watch the video and have any doubt that this woman didn't want to hurt anyone and was simply gunned down in the street...she backed up to get a better angle so as to not hit the vehicle in front of her when they gave her the order to clear out
