Ricardy Anderson did that at the first meeting. She was HOT, probably angrier than the parents.
Counterpoint: She and everyone except Mcelveen has steadfastly supported this shitshow. You shouldn’t applaud an arsonist for trying to put out the raging fire that she helped start.

+1. But I don’t think Rachna stands up for anything. She started this mess as the chair of the governance committee and is trying to wiggle out of it by changing jobs before the vote for the policy. She will leave Braddock children and families without a vote for the biggest policy change in “40 years.” I don’t want someone who shirks responsibility like that as a political leader.

You are right. And, the "delta" of 12.82 minutes means that what is currently less than a ten minute drive is -at best- a thirty minute drive twice a day. And, that is likely in a car, not on a school bus.
KAA needs to be a traditional school. A magnet would be ridiculous. And, KAA would likely be a five minute drive.
I can't follow your math. Wouldn't the delta suggest that a current 10-minute drive would become a 22 or 23-minute drive, not a "30-minute drive at best"?
I'm PP and drive that route (66) frequently. It takes 20 minutes at best in a car assuming no traffic. Do you really think it will take that on a school bus? Have you ever driven on I-66? At rush hour? Go there for evening activities--again at rush hour? Go pick your child up from after school activities?
They are using google maps' time. That is hopeful, at best.
The bus can take the HOV express lanes.66 will be the easiest part of that commute.

Nothing, other than there were a LOT of complaints from parents at many schools, from White Oak to Hunt Valley to Rolling Valley. Lots of concern about the lack of real numbers in scenarios 2 and 3 and confusion about what's going on. A lot of people were also confused about why this is moving so fast.
moving so fast? it's been going on for more than a year.

Looking at the regional priorities, it seems that Tru’s analysis comments back put a lot in concrete. I’m sure the meeting last week was just confirming the adjustments and finite details.
If you look at the regional priorities it was clear that in a lot of cases Thru didn’t understand the comments, and it remains unclear how Thru is addressing them. And then the School Board can override all of it anyway.
This has been a complete debacle from day one, so no one should be comfortable about any of it right now.

A Sangster parent called them out for not bothering to show up. I'm only on the Zoom but there was 60 people online. No idea how many in the room.
Maybe Rachna doesn't care anymore because she's running for BOS.
Heard she was just endorsed by McKay to be the new Braddock supervisor.
