Ok? “Happy” people commit suicide every single day, leaving behind them families in disbelief and shock. I think unless you’ve actually stood on the brink, facing two choices, exhausted from pretending, you can’t understand how someone could be “happy” one moment and dead by their own hands the next.

This.

People just don’t get it. I was going through a particularly rough patch mentally. No one knew, not a soul. I had bills to pay and a job to do and kids to attend to and parents who needed me. So I wore a mask and carried on as usual, sneaking away to fall apart in private.

But one day, when my kids were away for the night and I had had enough, I considered it. What stopped me was thinking of my kids, and my parents. But what if I hadn’t had kids who depended on me, and parents who respected me and would be devastated? I might have done it, in that moment of despair.

This. She either jumped or fell overboard.

You’ve got to be kidding me. This is a thread about the Netflix show. You didn’t bother to watch and skipped all 30 pages of this thread and want answers?

yes

DP. In the show, there was record that her dad woke in the early hours to see her out on the balcony - laying on a sun bed, possibly asleep, having smoked out there with her brother who was asleep. Then apparently the dad went back to bed but was woken by a "noise". When he got up, she was no where to be found, the sliding door was partly open back into the cabin.

That's it.

OK thanks.

It actually crossed my mind that the brother pushed her overboard and the dad covered for him.

Also, why is someone from that island stalking the "amybradleyismissing.com" site on holidays?

Sure it makes total sense the family has done nothing but keep this in the public eye for 27 years because they’re guilty of harming her. 🙄

I have worked in facial recognition. Its not her in the escort photos. It just is not. The tip of the nose of Amy's photos hangs down whereas the tip of the nose of the escort turns up and is shorter, the space between eye and eyebrow is bigger on the escort, the shape of the mouth is different.

I suspect in places like Curacao and Barbados it is going to be quite easy to dispose of a human body. But I don't think that happened. I agree she went over the side of the ship.

Then how could you explain the multiple sightings of her from completely strangers that would have no reason to lie? What about the picture of her on the sex sight? I still think she snuck out to find drugs and fell into the hands of the wrong people. Yellow “helped,” but was not ultimately the one that took her so he is right, he had no part of the disappearance. The military guys story is so spot on.

She has quite a generic look, actually, not uncommon. And not everyone has excellent facial recognition skills.
