She must be more worried about that approval rating than I thought.

Prediction: Spanberger will not veto or sign the legislation.
If she doesn’t veto it by April 13, then the legislation passes even without her signature. If she does nothing, she is a bigger coward than I thought.
Tick tock, Spanberger.
She supported it. She will let it pass even if she doesn’t sign it. Why can’t people comprehend that?
Point out one instance where she has explicitly said she supports the casino? I don’t necessary thing you are wrong that she won’t veto the bill, but I cannot think of any example where she commented on it.

As someone who used to work with studies and data, they can all be cherry picked to the narrative you want. In reality, casinos have a lot of problems and were designed to lift up depressed areas, the trade off was crime and increased costs for that area. That may have been a good trade off if they area wasn’t doing well, but Tysons? You can show me any study you want, in 5-10 years this casino will be very problematic for not only Tysons but NoVa. But then the developers and unions are happy because they got their money. Now NoVa will be stuck with the problem. For anyone dependent on the financial spoils that the casino will bring in, you are wrong. Just watch and see how Richmond will give nova less money out of the total pot and we will have higher expenses to support this casino for the benefit of said Marylanders. For anyone supporting this bill they either need to take their blinders off or ask comstock to up their money to buy you off. It’s going to ruin a lot of people who support it.
It’s going to tank the political careers of local Democrats who claim to oppose the casino if Spanberger doesn’t veto the bill. It will also reduce the willingness of people to vote in favor of the redistricting amendment. It’s stunning that the Democrats do not realize the wound they are inflicting on themselves right now.

that is what Democrats have become.
and they still dont understand why workers have migrated to republicans
Surovell has found a way for Fairfax County to find its schools. He has your best interests at heart. Once we have a casino, the state legislature can cut off all school funding.
