I am regular old middle-class. The year after Trump's tax law went into effect that was the first time we EVER owed money back rather than getting a refund and it was to the tune of $8000 which was enormous for us. Nothing had changed from one year to the next in terms of income.
Paying more taxes for schools, roads and police is a good thing. $8,000 is a drop in a bucket considering how much you would like to support Ukraine. Don't be stingy, pay more taxes.

The irony is that neither Trump nor Vance grew up middle class — they each were basically raised in the government teat, at different ends of the financial spectrum. Walz and a Harris grew up in hard working middle class families and were hard working middle class adults. Vance has never been a member of the middle class for a single day (except maybe when he was in military service).
Where are Vance’s ex girlfriends before professors set him up with Usha when he was 28 years old?
