Extended day care covers the random school days off. I'm not really seeing thr childcare issue here.

Bethany is as worthless as cdt. Complaining about how it was only “some parents” they were hearing from. If she wants to hear from more parents then go talk to them at their schools. Really go ask the Randolph parents if they want a bunch of random school closures.

Agreed! Two weeks is fine if APS is going to offer childcare options for families who can’t take time off or can’t afford it. Not everyone is a two person household with work from home jobs.

This is not a problem in Fairfax because the county runs the extended day program in the schools. Really big difference with APS. If APS wants 4 day school weeks, they need to give parents more options for all these days off.
