I no longer have a Prius. That was in high school and I pointed that out because that's how I grew up. It was very important to my parents that I don't contribute to global warming so hence the Prius. Big SUVs are so wasteful. That's a fact Americans love to ignore.

I don't drive an SUV and rarely struggle for space in our car. Serious question for the SUV drivers here: why do you feel it's so much more convenient than a regular car?
Anonymous wrote:OP, there are these things in the suburbs called families. And guess what? They need a way to transport them around.
I know, this is difficult for you to understand. But a family of 4-6 …can’t fit into a Prius. I know, I know, mind blowing, right?

Op here. I would never drive one—just not my thing. I like the way the doors open. Our community is at least 50 percent Asian, so many people have their parents living with them. None have these large SUVs. My problem isn't with all SUVs. It's just the massive ones.
Someone with kids who thinks minivans are a "thing" that you have or not, rather than a practical means of transportation.....you are pathetic if you think you are somehow cool in any way, lol. And I agree with you on the giant SUVs.
Ugh. A minivan?
What kind of people actually drive those things??

Anonymous wrote:This has been a thing for at least 15 years. The truth is that the big vehicles are very convenient and handy. If you're going to judge a person's whole personality/values around their vehicle, that's your problem. Different strokes for different folks doesn't mean that they're not friend material.

Everyone around here is mentally ill.

How nice for you. Most kids in this country aren't lucky enough to have their parents get them a car when they're in high school (much less an expensive Prius!) I love how you are judging the privilege on the other side without recognizing your own.
Exactly. Lots of kids have parents who either can’t afford to get them a new car or can’t afford to get them a car at all.
OP is a hypocrite.
I'm a hypocrite because my parents saved money to buy a more fuel-efficient car. Right. No one was impressed with my car in my senior year of high school. Most had no idea it was hybrid. My parents made payments of $400 for a few years. Some people buy their kids a cheap car they can pay off right away and others make payments.
Alright. So OP is really the same as the people she despises. She just chooses a different set of nonsense to lack any self awareness about. Your parents made $400 car payments for you??? IN HIGH SCHOOL?? You think that's just because they were hardworking and anyone who didn't get that just had lazy parents? GTFO with that and get some perspective. Sorry to interrupt the petty bullshit...continue.
