There's nothing off about this. The Rs presented no plan to address those issues and many of their plans, like provoking a debt ceiling crisis, would make them worse.

Maybe because voters also understand that what is going on in our economy is not isolated, but part of a global phenomenon, and that the Republicans have offered no solutions (because there aren't any easy ones).

Okay. Not Democrats as a party. Definitely liberal district attorneys who are allowing individuals with a violent criminal history walk around freely to commit repeat crimes. I don't care what color they are or how rich or poor they are or if they were abused as children. If you commit violent crimes, then you shouldn't be free to assault again. Period. I'm also for pouring money towards kids and families who need support. Nonetheless, if a person is displaying violent behavior as a teen, then sorry -- shouldn't be free.
