And it is a wrap on the ISL with Saints as 2022 champs!

Again, despite all its (youthful) flaws, Potomac can handle Holton.

You’re hoping people forget Visi narrowly escaped Holton by just one goal. And that six-goal Saints win against Bullis was hardly a beat down. Keep pushing that false narrative.

One close game doesn’t mean these two schools aren’t worlds apart when you consider the entirety of a season. They are. Holton had a dismal season. Visi had a good one. Holton should get credit for playing a respectable schedule though. They didn’t puff up their win column by adding a bunch of ISL A teams and non-lacrosse schools like Potomac. Bullis losing by 6 is not good. That’s a fairly significant loss although far more respectable than losing by say, 13.

Ah yes, Holton played the lacrosse powerhouses Park School and Maryvale Prep. Not to mention the ISL A team, NCS. Tough schedule.

Holton mom, why do you keep coming on here just to bash Potomac? You're an adult and a mother. Why do you act this way? Your DD got her commitment. She'll be fine. It's all fine.

Potomac obviously had a weak defense, no leader, just crashing. They did have girls who could score but if you watched them no leadership on offense calling effective plays. It was basically an individual free for all to goal. They won what they did on individual ability not team play. Young players worth building on tho. Future might be bright if they get a decent coach.

Did that non-puff schedule help Holton beat Potomac?

There was a lot of earlier dumping on SSSAS for having a "down year" but tied for first place in ISL, playing SR for the ISL championship, and ranked #1 in VISAA seems to show otherwise. Sometimes team chemistry and heart make more of a difference than individual talent.

Congrats to all of the ISL schools for their first full season since 2019 (Covid canceled 2020 and most barely played in 2021)! The future is bright for many programs!

Sure it does. Every game makes a statement about how good a program is. Visi lost to PVI — will you say “two games” don’t define a season? Three? The point made was that there was a “huge divide” between SR, Visi, SSAS and everyone else. A 6-goal loss to a Championship finalist doesn’t support that comment. And a one goal loss to Visi by Holton absolutely doesn’t.

Visi should probably get used to finishing third.
