Agree. I have def noticed an uptick of homeless and strung out people. But I walk in, go to my gate, and board. I have never felt unsafe, I just mind my business and move on.
It’s nice that you feel safe, but there is very good reason for other not to feel safe, particularly women.

We never go to Union Station. We use New Carrolton. Pretty much the same time frame to get there from Montgomery County.

The responses to this are depressing. The best explanation I understand for why Union Station is like this is people evidently like it like this. They like the rampant crime, drug use and vagrancy.

Early evening, so close to the Capitol on the night of the State of the Union and a young guy likely OD'd in the restroom at Union Station. Sad. So dystopian.
