This is true. My Irish Catholic in-laws, both originally from Queens, love the guy. As does my BIL, who has done the truck parades. My BIL works at one of the large banks, as does his wife. They are wealthy by any measure, but incredibly myopic about the world. It's truly fascinating stuff.
Yuck. Real estate jerks like trump are a dime a dozen in queens and plenty of people can't stand them. He is so not anything special. At all. Do better GOP.
