You in your flip flops and no business wearing yoga pants that no one wants to see but you insist on wearing living vicariously through your teen DD.

I have said it before and I will say it again. My daughter plays on a showcase GA team from a well known midwestern club with a reputation for producing college players. Our showcase team has attracted many D1 coaches from SEC, Big10, ACC, etc. Multiple kids on her team, including my daughter have played ECNL. Outside of the top tier ECNL clubs, the level of competition between ECNL and GA is much closer than most want to admit.
The top of the GA and the middle of ECNL are closer than you want to admit.
As a parent with a kid on a top GA team. The top GA teams and top ECNL teams are pretty much the same thing.

cause its true. if they decoupled the GA Champions tournament from the DEC tournament and the Playoffs from the June showcase, the normal showcase would be terribly low for college turnout. Case in Point:
GA Champions Cup Only @ IMG (March) 117 D1
Regular Showcase Only NC (April) 57 D1
Here is good list of where the 2026's are committed as of May 26 broken out by clubs ECNL, ECNLRL/GA/

We went undefeated beating all ECNL national league teams. I have always thought that outside of the top tier clubs, that the ECNL was all marketing.

GA has already taken half of ECNLs recruitment visibility. Think about it if you were a recruiter would you choose to look at a middling ECNL club or a top GA club?
What will happen over time is ECNL players will go to the top GA clubs and vice versa. Regionally there will be a few top GA clubs and a few top ECNL clubs then everyone else.
This is dumb? GA has taken half of ECNL’s recruiting visibility? A NOVA team had 185 coaches at a single game in North Carolina this past weekend.

That doesnt make sense.
Recruiters aren't shopping for players at events. They're there to look at players who have contacted them.
At most each team is rostering 22 players. This means max of 44 players reaching out to colleges and asking them to watch them play.
If theres 185 recruiters watching a single game this means each player is inviting 4 recruiters each and all the recruiters are showing up at the same time, same game.
Just stop with the outrageous lies.
