Doubtful. They call players, so they get a sense of the acceptances.
Emails were sent. It was a no for my daughter, and she has friends that were yes. Congrats to the girls who made it. Lots of great competition.

Heros White still has tryouts. Their program has a good recruiting history.
For NOVA it is Stars, Pride and YJMA. MCE can be hit or miss if you want to drive to MOCO. There are some smaller clubs, but they typically do not play in the better tournaments. IF the Pride girls who do not make CLC stick with Pride that could be a decent team given their performance in 2024. Not certain about Stars, but YJMA and Pride had decent recruiting for their 25's. Not CLC level, but their results are respectable.

Yes, they were giving you the blueprint. Unless anyone believes trying out with over a hundred other girls in a couple hours will give a chance to stand out. As far as an interest, that could go any kind of way.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I will say I was skeptical about the people who said the teams were all pretty much decided in advance until I saw the shear numbers of girls trying out and heard from my daughter about the difference in talent. I’m thinking 90% of the teams have already been chosen.
You are probably right. CLC does their homework and has a pretty good idea of who are the strong players before any tryouts. You are probably correct in that 2-4 girls who make CLC B are identified during the tryouts. Assuming that 90% of CLC B are pretty much set, you have roughly 120 girls trying out for 2-3 slots on Blue and 22 for Orange.
So those pre tryout clinics were actually valuable in having your daughter evaluated prior to actual tryouts? If a coach took interest in your daughter there, does it mean anything?
