I like it.
The $2000 checks are a winning issue for Dems and a real problem for McConnell. Vote on it and watch the Senate squirm just before the runoff. They do not need Trump, plus the Tea Party plus the runoffs. Popcorn time.
Something needs to be done about 230. But not the way Trump wants. Social media companies should not be able to monetize disinformation. Especially the personal libel/slander of private citizens that keeps ruining lives and putting lives at risk. If the earn clicks off it and Twitter is informed it’s libel, they need to pull it down or pay damages. They are de facto publishers. And if they want to publish who killed Seth Rich conspiracies, they shouldn’t make a profit doing so. But that’s a substantive debate that needs to be decoupled from all things Trump. Unfortunately, Trump wants the opposite— more conspiracy theories.
I’m sure it will shock no one when Adam Schiff reports to the House next week that he’s talked to the FBI and DOJ and found no evidence of election fraud. But hey! He looked.
Done. Done. Done.
The Defense Act veto override is going to be interesting.
So glad as a Fed that we are putting Trump’s control of the budget in the rearview mirror.
