I want to be optimistic but I don’t see the Dems pulling this off.

Should be called quickly for the Ds. No way Republicans will make up the early voting deficit.

Kelly Loeffler reminds me of a drunk praying mantis.

Perdue’s term ended with the last Congress and Georgia has not elected a replacement yet- so it is open. Loeffler’s term did not end and she was appointed until someone is elected to replace her, which has yet to happen.

This is correct, and also prompts the question as to why Georgia scheduled the runoff on January 5 after his term would be over. Why not in December?

Thanks for the response. I was finally able to find an article that explained it better for me. I was joking with the high school government question - this is an odd situation that I don't expect to be in curriculum and had a hard time finding answers for but this article helped.

I’m not sure which high school would have these very specific questions in its curriculum.

If many “independents” and OP vote to split their vote, wont they give it to the dems since some will split it to Warnock and some to Ossoff and therefore- both Perdue and L will get fewer votes?
