A man sexually penetrates a woman without her consent, lies about it, claims they’ve never met, says he couldn’t be guilty because she’s not his type, is shown a photograph of himself and that woman standing face to face in conversation and misidentifies her as one of his own wives, is found guilty of sexually assaulting her, is ruled to have defamed her by lying about and insulting her and ordered to pay damages, continues to lie about and insult her, is completely disrespectful to the court and disruptive during the proceedings, is found guilty of defamation again and ordered to pay much, much more in damages because it will obviously take a significant deterrent to stop him…and you are MORE sympathetic to him now? Please explain.

He’s not losing because he “denies” her accusations. He’s losing because he’s committing slander. Libel too, if you count “truth social”. The court has already found him responsible for the crime.
+1
Well said. Perfect post.
