My guess is these are parents that have kids that cannot play at this level. I understand the jealousy but it is still sad to see.

Sure, but this is preseason, and rosters may be mixed rosters. MU put in U15s and U17s only and at another showcase they only put in the U16s and U19s. That way, they can just combine teams as needed. I wouldn't read much into it.

Since it is still technically the off season, they are leaving room for people to be out of town. It's not like this is Jeff Cup. Last year, there was hardly a scout in sight and none from outside of Virginia. It's more like an organized friendly than a true showcase.
