Anonymous wrote:Our experience with Bullis was really different from what I expected from the glitzy tour - like really different. At the same time, I find the “gotcha” on this forum to be exhausting. The school has pros and cons, and for us, the cons prevailed.

Sure, but some schools seek to improve athletics by recruiting academically qualified students and others just throw a scholarship to whatever kid can throw the ball the farthest.
I don’t thing any of the regular schools mentioned on DCUM bring in kids who are not academically qualified. I’d have to see that to believe it. All the athletes I know that have been through Bullis, do well in college for example. So it doesn’t look like they are bringing in kids who can’t do the work.
