Mark Pierzchala needs to go. Mayor and Council elections in Rockville are November 2019.

How is the City giving Dawson's $2 million? They are funding $2 million over 5 years in the form of grants and loans to Town Center businesses. Dawson's has applied for funds and I am sure they will get some, but they are certainly not getting the entire $2 million.
Are you sure Dawson’s is not getting the full $million?
It says that Dawsons’ is getting $2 million over the next five years through REDI. It does not say anything about other businessesz
I agree with the poster who comments that they need to do something about the parking and about homelessness in that area. And, definitely address safety. There have been quite a few incidents in that area.

The county should lower its moritorium level to 110%
Why?
Why not? People want the city to drop back to 110. I think the county should do it.
You want the county to do something. "Why not" is unlikely to persuade people. So: why?
Why do people want the city to do it? People say it over and over on this thread.
Because city control the constructions and we pay extra tax to city. If city won't look after best interest of citizens then city shouldn't exist.
And the county is looking after residents by having a 120% threshold? I think the county should stop all building anywhere zoned for RM so that the city of Rockville can build more in the town center. Problem solved. No need to raise the TC to 150% now.
If I am right then entire area of RM is under permit of City.

+1 exactly! Waste of my tax dollars.

But the Capital Planning dept can't plan their way out of a paper bag. Their student projections are always wrong, they can't build fast enough, do not communicate with communities about how/when/if they intend to resolve overcrowding. Instead it happens over and over again.
Building requires $.
