Collins, Murkowski, Manchin, etc will all confirm. Plus, he's actually a great pick. I dare anyone to come up with a plausible argument on why he should not be confirmed.
He's a standard-issue conservative pick. Under normal circumstances, I would agree that the minority should just step aside and let the nomination go through.
These are not normal circumstances, though - the Republican Party destroyed any hope for normality in Supreme Court confirmations with Merrick Garland.
Yes, #resist we must.
What exactly do you think the Dems should do? What actions can they take to prevent his appointment?
Democrats can do NOTHING to prevent Kavanaugh's confirmation absent some real surprise which is unlikely especially given that he went through the confirmation process not so long ago.
What Democrats can do longer term when it comes to future confirmations is to actually win elections and to do that they need to focus on the entire country - not just what will sell in CA and NY.
No party can lose elections at just about every level and then expect to call the shots when it comes to judicial appointments.

More mindless blather ....... Kavanaugh will be confirmed more than likely with the support of at least a couple of Democrats.
The way Democrats get to nominate and confirm justices and judges is by winning elections - something Democrats have not succeeded in doing since 2008.
Vote suppression. Illegally removing voters from the rolls. Gerrymandering. TREASON.
Even with you cheatballs cheating, we win more votes. Be honest - without all your cheating, you wouldn’t win dogcatcher. No one wants your policies. Or your filthy and corrupt GOPers.
Now THERE is a triggered snowflake!![]()

The GOP. Stupid or hypocritical?
Kavanaugh has no business being on the court. Trump is under investigation for treason. He has no business selecting justices for anything.
Stop whining ........ the Democrats lost the election. Remember what Obama said: "elections have consequences".
Get used to it ...........
It’s not whining to note that he is wholly unfit for the bench. Who bought him off. Why. To whom is he beholden.
And Trump is under investigation for treason. Every single judge he has appointed should be recalled.
