No. Apparently the school is too big for her to recognize any of the 10 boys who were part of the assault.
Hmmm. Seems unlikely. Op? What's up with that?
Her school has almost 1,000 students in 7th and 8th grade. She recognizes them as students of her school, but does not know their names. They are outside her circle of friends. Also, they weren't just laughing. They were yelling/cheering for him to hit her again.
And he didn't hit her again.
Op, we just moved to a new school system so I can totally understand not knowing everyone's names. Heck, we've met people who have introduced themselves and I've already forgotten some of their names. However, these are kids walking home around your daughter - these are your neighborhood kids! They live nearby, within walking distance of your house. She should have a general idea of at least where they live. And you all must shop at the same stores, go to the same library, parks, pool, etc.
It seems amazing that she can't identify any of them...
I asked by DD and she said it would take about a day to find out the name of any kid in her school -- same size as op's daughter.Anonymous wrote:I don't know a single 12/13 year old girl who plays outside anymore, unless you count sports team time. They talk to their friends on FaceTime. We've only been in the neighborhood since last fall. Do any posters know the names of the 1,000 people in their office buildings? All 989?

I think OP is a troll. She had plenty of suggestions which she didn't follow- yearbook, social media, etc. DCUM found the bobcat poacher yet OP and her daughter can't find 10 kids in her school. It doesn't add up to me.
Why would I offer a play by play of actions I'm taking for it to be used to insult me? I see no need to get the harpy choir going again.

So Op calls the boy's parents days after the fact, tells them what happened and they are suppose to what? Instantly agree with Op and assume that their son did, in fact, smack the girl on the butt? I suppose the boy will immediately confess to doing this and his parents will agree to punish him in a way that Op approves of and if not then Op is going to call the cops on them all? Well, o.k.
No, Op can't call the parents because they haven't identified the kid and she came here to ask an anonymous forum how to get in touch with them.
