I thought it was odd that no one hugged or showed any happiness for being reunited except Maggie and Glenn. I mean nothing between Daryl, Rick, Michonne & Carl. Nothing when Glenn saw Rick & gang in the train. They were like family and the odds of being united with friends would be incredibly slim.

Well, would you be excited if the people u thought might rescue u end up being stuck in the same bad situation?

Other boards are speculating that Maggie is pregnant, which is why she was so glad to see Glenn.

Maybe Carol and Tyreese hear the gun battle like you say, and rescue Rick. Rick has to take Carol back 1) if she has Judit 2) Tyreese for gave here 3) Rick now knows what HE is capable of and 4) Carol saves them all.

Maggie was more concerned about Glenn since he was so weak. Maggie and berth didn't seem that close anyway - much younger half sister. But I'm sure she will ask if rick and them knows.
I doubt carol and crew are in terminus yet. I think they're a day behind, maybe even hear the gun battle.

I think Beth is going to show up again as a bad Termite! I think she will have turned evil. She was too goody goody.

The scene where Joe's "Claimed" gang finds our survivors and begins to get violent... OMG. What an incredible, scary scene. I was sure one of ours was going to die. Most intense moment on the show for me yet.

Or part of the terminus breeding program. But unlikely - they wait for people to come to them.

It's the highest rated show on cable television by a mile. They only films a few weeks out of the year. He is a big part of why they are so successful. I don't think the creators counted on his character being as important to the show as Rick's is. Michonne is heading that direction as well.

IMHO, I guess my point is I don't see them being able to get rid of him without fan revolt. It would be a 'jumping of the shark' moment for the series.

I find him much hotter now that he's older and bit more wiry.

I think Norman Reedus has lots of offers now and may be hard to keep. Also, the character was not in the original comics at all, so it's not like he has some major fate.

I hope we keep our core characters now and see them build a successful future. Terminus has everything Rick wanted in the prison. Maybe they can invade and take over like the Governor wanted to do to them? Difference being, the Termites instigated it.

Great episode.

I wonder if the shocking thing the series has planned would be to NOT kill anyone off for a while. A PP alluded to the fact that Daryl might be killed next year. Maybe, the more interesting route would be for the group to emerge stronger and more focused than before. I still think death is coming, but not right away. They have already experienced so much loss. Besides, the audience (us) sit around guess which one is going to die. We have been doing that for years. Maybe the writers are on to this tactic and decide to pivot. I hope so. Love this group of weary warriors.

Also, echo the comments above. Loved the scene with Daryl and Rick. It was almost as if Daryl was a tad freaked out by Rick's violent display and needed to justify his actions - as in, "please don't kill me too!" Ha! The watch tipped Rick off - this was the watch given to Glenn by Hershel. I wonder if Carol and Tyrese see the perimeter being guarded and decide not to enter? Maybe the baby dries and Rick knows it's Judith? October is sooooo far away!
