So after all the misspellings and mailing it to the wrong address they summited a state issue up to the SCOTUS and lost? You can't make this up. Why would think they the SCOTUS would assist in a state issue?

So the guy who was doing 100+ mph and threatening law-makers isn't exactly on top of things?

Liar. He didn’t “threaten” lawmakers.

Correct. He wanted to harm children.

9-0 decision including the 3 liberal justices. Do you think Dems will propose to fire all 9 asap also?

Spanberger’s appeal just got laughed out of court.

They absolutely knew what the outcome would be. They did this so they could continue in their effort to court bash the Supreme Court.

Problem is open progressives like Mamdani and Wilson and closet progressives like Spanberger just demonstrate why progressive leadership is bad for everyone but the handout class.

Not even Justice Brown Jackson was foolish enough to bite on this one.

The liberal justices have been very critical about SCOTUS's granting of emergency applications (aka the "shadow docket"), so it makes sense that they didn't "bite" here. VA could still use the normal cert petition process to try to get SCOTUS to take this case, though that would be a very foolish endeavor.

+1. The democrats spearheading this thing are not stupid. There is no way in hell that they did not know that this outcome is likely. This is political theatre to continue the long term goal of packing the court in their favor.

If Democrats outnumbered Republicans on SCOTUS, and Republicans controlled the Presidency and Congress like they do now, they would absolutely expand SCOTUS to get it back in their favor. If Democrats don't pack the court if they ever have the opportunity, they're even bigger idiots than I thought.

They wanted SCOTUS to start defining words.

Couldn't we add 50 more justices and then pick 9 that would agree to overturn the ruling?
