It is a very transactional affair and in fairness, when you pay $80,000 a year you deserve special attention and robust advocacy.
"In fairness, when you pay $80,000 a year you deserve special intention and robust advocacy."
We have found it - the most unintentionally ironic claim on this entire forum.

That is just sad!! Our CC refused to call the school to advocate for my kid as he thought the school they have committed to is a good fit.

There appears to be an immigrant with a child on the W&M waitlist.
Ha, acutally, I am an American Mom, new to all things college related. And I will take your snarky remark as a confirmation that Williams means W&M.
Williams is a small extremely selective liberal arts school in mass. It's a different school than W&M.

Williams = Williams College
Not William & Mary.
Thank you <3 ... new time college Mom here ...
YW.
In case it helps, Williams is one of the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference) schools, which are a collection of 11 small liberal arts colleges that play each other.
Those schools are: Amherst College, Bates College, Bowdoin College, Colby College, Connecticut College, Hamilton College, Middlebury College, Tufts University, Trinity College, Wesleyan University, and Williams College.
Yes, that actually does help! TY again

Well, YES. You can’t be deposited at two colleges at the sane time. You put down deposit and secure spot and new school and then immediately notify/withdraw from the first one.
You don't have to do that if you're willing to lose 2 deposits. In some cases, that may make sense.

Wiliams & Mary? I keep hearing that they are not moving on waitlist this year.
Williams is the top SLAC. Different than W&M
