The makeup of the current IAC (GP, Landon, STA, Bullis, EHS, St Stephen’s) will look different at the start of the 2028 - 2029 school year.
A merger with the MAC has been in the works for well over a year now - the conference would have an upper AA and lower A division for their respective schools to decide which sport level they can compete at. I.e. Sidwell basketball would compete in the upper level for hoops and the lower level in lacrosse. I’ve also heard that maybe some Annapolis based MIAA schools (Severn, St Mary’s) are also interested.

Also, not all of the IAC schools have pg boys and reclass junior and seniors playing lax, STA among them.

That wont happen. All of the IAC schools are doing the same thing as far as playing older guys.
