All these problems sometimes come about because there's too many cooks in the kitchen and often don't share the same values or vision.
Which is the same reason Loudoun Soccer will do it. They are big enough and it's better for their business to be known everywhere as LS.

Is there a former player or professional athlete offspring in the mix who understand daily training benefits for comfort on the ball. All you need is a lot of money and 2-3 families who actually know how to indentify an elite trainer/coach. Thats how you get the team that can compete nationally - 09 + 10 VDA, 11 Arlington for example. Those parents are wealthy and invested. McLean always has the chance for the recipe and it happend in 2013, lets see if that teams goes to GA or not.
Parent's money doesn't play on the field. A parent can drop $10,000 a year and if their kid sucks they suck.
It's not about money. It's about TALENT. McLean has the best GIRLS talented players in the area. 2013 Green is just one example. Ranked top 10 in the nation for the last few years. There are other similar teams. Kids want to play on winning teams with other players are who talented and who WIN. That's why so many clubs hate McLean because they are a draw to any player who's actually good.
Now, the for the boys side it's a different story. But, for girl players McLean is the best spot.
The 2013 team is remnant of DB. He's gone and so is the talent after his departure. 2014 is not even in the same ballpark as 2013 and my sources say 2015 is even less so. It shows a trend that is not favorable and now moving to GA will not help bolster those teams it will only hurt.
Might be giving to much credit to DB, the 2013's are still ranked like top ten in country (on rankings app for whatever thats worth) and #1 in VA
I don't think so. No one is talking about the upcoming McLean Girls after 2013 for a reason.
DB had the 2011’s too. How’s that working out?
Is that any fault of his? Prior to U13 a few years back the strong 2011 groups were Arlington, McLean and PWSI. Then came all the alliances aside from Arlington who continue to grow and get better.
only one of those teams is making history while the others are just history
The one making history didn't have to deal with any alliances.

MYS Team 1 - GA
MYS Team 2 Aspire
Where are they going to get a team 1 from? They only have ECRL teams which definitely won’t be able to compete in GA.
They are hoping the old Mclean kids that went to Union will return.
