LOL. That you live in VA is no surprise.

Your lol is no surprise either. PP makes sense. The effed up policies of DC make none.

Where are the stolen Korean cars dumped? AM and Wakefield are 2 hot spots, also...

that lady had 2 Hyundais dumped in an hour.

Hondas go to chop shops and luxury brands end up on ships out of Baltimore. Who are the hidden hands behind it all?

Check out what Philly and NYC do with the ATVs. Not unique, Nadeau just doesn't get out much and is from Michigan.

After 20 years here, I'm officially out and taking my family with me. I'm not willing to risk having my six-year-old hit by a stray bullet caused by some feuding "crews" trying to prove how badass they are. It's been real, DC.

Sure a few incidents have happened in Ward 3 but that is "normal" given that previously it was shielded from needy residents w/o homes. So in a way, Ward 3 residents created a fake utopian bubble that has long needed to burst.

You act as if Ward 3 residents deserve to experience crime. Ward 3 residents pay high taxes to support the rest of the city. Ward 3 residents paid higher property prices in exchange for living a safe place. They could easily live in the suburbs but choose not. . And what they pay in taxes --including property taxes- benefits the rest of the city. If that area is no longer safe, ward 3 residents will move out of DC. The property values and tax base will go down. It will be the 80s all over again but with more gun violence and car jackings.

It’s hard to sympathize with Ward 3 when you keep electing super progressives and socialist ANC reps and councilmen. This is what being “welcoming” looks like.

No thanks.

Home equity won’t stop the bleeding caused by a stray bullet.

+1 So true, can’t believe someone would risk their life to build a bit more in home equity 🙄

True. But what Democrat wants to hold criminals accountable?

Def don’t get a Honda.
Highest theft rate in the world here in wash dC. For parts and whole car. Easy to steal.

It’s time to leave the city when the purchase of a Honda is likened to wearing a short, tight skirt and stumbling home alone late at night. I’m tapping out.

Where do you live that you think your family member will be less dead if killed by a 15 year old than a 40 year old? Anyone who murders has lost the right to live freely. Anyone who murders an innocent victim has also shown no regard for another person's life.
