Where in America do you see women dress in camo pants and heels? Wear gloves? Capes? Besides a theme park or two???
Gloves/Cape - Sure the average woman might not wear them, but it looks like the height of sophistication to every woman who thought Jackie O was a style icon. They might not wear them but I bet they think its elegant and fashionable.
"Mama" teeshirts - seen at every elementary school bus drop off
Heels and cargo pants - terrible combo! But Kim Kardashian wears them and people seem to love her sooooo......
Sure, I would never be caught dead in any of these outfits and nor would anyone who is reading this. But there are a 150 million women in America and DCUM is not representative of the majority of them. I might hate all of her outfits but I get what shes doing.
What she's doing is presenting herself like a total whackadoo
She’s going after the “Momma Bear” crowd who love to self-congratulate on Facebook about the infinite sacrifices they make because that’s just what Momma Bears (translation: the good moms) do. Pretty large overlap with MLM Mompreneurs.

I live in Oregon now and no one, absolutely no one, dresses in a style anywhere close to this where I live.
I live in Florida and no one I see dresses like this!
She always looks like she's just been pulled offstage from a community production of something - Cinderella or, here, Grease.
