The Proud Boys are a hate organization who have no place in Maryland, ever.
I asked the question about the fire, because she routinely tweets about national, state, and other things outside of her council district. That one seems relevant.
You asked the questions about the fire to distract from the fact that MCPD stood by to and watched white supremacists assault people including a member of the county council
Nooo... I asked whether a councilmember made any comment at all about a large fire a few miles away, in downtown silver spring.
If the MCPD did not act appropriately with the idiot proud boys, then I hope there are consequences.
Do you live in Montgomery County? It seems you're a bit fuzzy about Montgomery County geography.
Why yes I do- east county.
District 3 is not too far from DTSS. Straight shot down 29 in fact. Why the semantic argument here?
You might look at a map of the county, noting the location of Loyalty Books (where MCPD apparently watched white supremacists assault people including a member of the County Council) and of the apartment building currently called Arrive Silver Spring (where the fire was).
Per a map- they are a whopping .4 miles away. Not sure what the point is though.
Correct, they're both right there in downtown Silver Spring. You have an axe to grind with Kristin Mink, which you could have made sharper, if you had been more concerned about the fire you're concerned she didn't express concern on Twitter about.

true but police didn’t just watch. they weren’t told of the event. and didn’t show til called.
mcpd did nothing wrong. did their jobs.
at the same time, much credit to parasol patrol.
the only bad guys here are Proud Boys
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Has she posted at all about the large apartment fire in downtown Silver Spring?
Downtown Silver Spring is represented by Councilmember Kate Stewart, who has tweeted about it. My district councilmember, who does not represent downtown Silver Spring, has not tweeted about the apartment fire, and neither has councilmember Kristin Mink, who also does not represent downtown Silver Spring.
She posts regularly about things outside her district (and outside the county). That’s absolutely fine, and it’s also why the question about the SS fire isn’t unusual.
