The next thing the “court” or ruling religious council will addressed- restricting travel of those seeking abortions. The “justices” have a plan, are working with people from the states and now will move on to restriction of more rights. These ruling are already decided. There is nothing you can do. The filibuster is in place, moderate dems support the filibuster, have rejected reforming the court and will not impeach.

I will say if the republicans faced this they would have impeached and reformed the court already. It is crazy watching the court conspire to strip rights away.

Except the woman who is carrying a bunch of cells.

Women have no rights and their lives do not matter.

They are cells in the beginning. I agree.

Second trimester fetuses are not just cells.

Except the lives of living breathing beings who can get shot going to school, or to the movie theater, or just shopping. Gunowners have more rights than women in this country. Disgraceful right wing party

It’s not a life before birth. The position that a fetus is a life is a religious belief. I believe in separation of church and state, which scotus is busy dismantling.

Right? Like everyone forgot the leaked opinion quickly?

No, that didn't happen. Abortion is important, to pro-abortionists and to anti-abortionists. This isn't going away.

At all.

At first I was outraged but I realized it was no abortion after 15 weeks.

At 15 weeks, the fetus seems like a baby to me. I remember sharing my pregnancy and a picture of my ultrasound at the beginning of my second trimester and it was indeed a baby. When the baby has a head and body, that is a baby. Assuming you have a baby being on this forum.

Except for brown kids in their classrooms. The GOP don't think they matter all that much.

Kudos to the SCOTUS on this. Always should have been up to the states.

But why exactly? I'm just looking for the rationale why it should be a state decision and not a federal one. I can't have children anymore so just curious for the next generation.

Why should it be up to the states? Surely it should be up to the woman who has to go through a pregnancy? Why should the state have the power over a woman's body?

Questions like these have always been asked since the country was founded. Now that there are clear cultural flashpoints the role of the state vs the federal republic is front and center.

Wow. Can you be any more hyperbolic?

You have such disdain for people who believe that babies should have a chance at life.

Oh, do tell about your support for assistance to women and families after they have those babies. Or how you support reasonable gun restrictions, so that those babies aren't innocently killed while in school? No? Oh, right, you only care about "babies" when they are in the womb or just at the point of crowning.

The GOP hates women.

The Dems hate the most innocent and vulnerable human life...

You don’t care if kids are mowed down with guns. Sit your hypocritical ass down and STFU.

Maybe if the kids were hacked with machetes, then the GOP might've shown a bit of compassion.

I don’t hear you supporting medical access for preventative care so that we have a healthier populace, not even for prenatal care. You don’t support any kind of food aid - unless you’re abusing it to “bleed the beast.’ I don’t hear you clamoring for living wages so families get to spend time with their children in clean, safe homes. I don’t hear you supporting the environment; if businesses want to destroy it, it’ll bring on the rapture all the faster and it doesn’t really matter how many kids die of pollution-triggered asthma attacks anyway, right? You thought getting a shot to protect the oldest, frailest people was tyranny.

Your whole thing is just a weird fetus fetish/sadism kink. You guys never answer these posts, any of the hundreds of this kind. You just hit and run with what you think is an absolute burn but you aren’t fooling anyone.
