To follow parents who r on their 4th club and a club based in Gainsville, VA? How about start a new thread for Mid-Atlantic DMV.

Who is on their 4th club?

MCE club director is mocking the families that left the 2030 team. Not sure anyone is really on their 4th club. Doesn’t matter if it’s their 5th. Get the heck out of there already.

She should be spending her time trying to get quality coaches who actually show up rather than be on DCUM trying to defend her garbage. If you are thinking of trying out for MCE don't there are way better options at clubs with coaches who care and will show up? And if you are there already and reading this run run run as fast as you can.
why do you think this is the MCE club director making the comments? My lord get over yourself. I am a 2025 parent and she is way more focused on the 2025s recruiting than being on this blog. We get it you left, you had a coach, u just did not like the scores during a small window of your DD’s lax career. People will find YJ DMV if they want, move it to a new thread.

Based in Long Island. I heard they did way better than the MCE 2030 team did at LLL. Not only did their coach show up, but so did their players. lol

Seems like that entire team that left found a home quickly and was able to get into some tournaments. I believe there were some doubters on here saying they wouldn't get into any tournaments this late. Good for your girls I hope the change is as good for them as it was for mine. May i ask which YJMA team so I can follow their success story post MCE.

They are listed as Yellow Jackets Mid Atlantic 2030. They won all 4 of their games at Live Love Lax but they were in a mediocre bracket. Next weekend they go to Lax is Life, the following weekend to Beach Blast.

Winning a mediocre bracket is better than losing or forfeiting one. Where is their summer schedule posted?

Mocking what exactly that they actually played 4 games and didn't have to forfeit or that the coaches showed and they won games despite not having the amazing coaches at MCE to guide them to success...

HAHAHA!!!!!!

LLL totals for the 7 MCE teams across 6 age groups the only age having 2 teams being the 26 and this is not including the 0-1 30 team that played one then bailed was
1-26-1 with a -162 GD

So that is what almost $3,000 a year and playing for the best coaches with the "premiere lacrosse club in Montgomery County, MD" gets you.

This is what $3,000 a year gets you! 1-26-1, part-time coaches who show up on occasion but will be sure to tell your DD how important commitment is and how they will never make the HS team that they never will be good enough to play or even have a chance to play on the next level yeah way to go MCE that is exactly how it should be done...

Most clubs IWCLA team lists (you can search by club and team) are their rosters (eg identical to any other listings). If MC is different than this for HS that would be highly unusual.
CLC 24 parent here, and we have to pay extra. No club is really giving away the subscription, it is either baked in to the club fee, or family pays fee as a separate line item, but still through club. Probs depends on how club wants to handle it. Clubs have to have an account for the rosters to populate as they do.

This thread has gone for the rails. Some people with way too much time on their hands.

I am in a Carolina team. We didn’t fill out our IWCLA profile because we have no interest in getting recruited. Waste of time for us. No idea if it was free or not.

It doesn't matter if you "fill it out." Your account is opened by the club and has the basic info out there. As demonstrated in an earlier post, the IWCLA rosters were completely different last year. Why did 26 Carolina go from two teams to one?

MCE IWCLA Sports Recruits pages are for the entire age group, same thing for 25s, which is a good thing IMO. Less labeling is a good thing. Stop trying to stir the pot like MCE is trying to pull one over. If a player, like the PP, does not want a page then the club does not activate their profile. All is good...

Anyone else smelling that BS…

"Less labeling". It's not labeling. It's organizing by team, which they are not. Makes 0 sense.
It is organized by age group. It makes absolute sense.

This is such garbage not one club that has A and B teams would do this ever!!!!

Exactly. This is some weird hill to die on and sounds like some BS club is trying to push. No club out there with multiple teams at an age group does this. Except MC Elite.

And a quick glance through tournament schedules and it does seem 25 Carolina is no more.

Yet MCE is trying to defend this like they still have a 25 Carolina so if they do then where are they playing?
2025 Carolina parent here. To the PP’s, which seems like 2 crazy parents who are bouncing off each other, your rant is disservice to my child and their coaches. Give it a rest and go away.

OK 25 Carolina parent so please enlighten us all and tell us what tourney did your daughter play at this weekend with her 25 Carolina team?

I wonder who is the mastermind over at STJ who made the decision to buy MCE. What a moron

Did that sale go through yet? JR might be incompetent, but somehow she pulled that off and deserves some credit.

Stars got an email asking for volunteers to play with MCE for this. Not sure if anyone did? Unfortunately we had another commitment. Feel bad for the girls that they had to forfeit.

How about their opponent? They paid $$ to play 4 games and instead only got three. Some teams come a long way (GA, CO etc.) for these tournaments and yes you feel sorry for the MCE girls, but it is also not fair to the other teams you have deprived a game when there is a waitlist of teams trying to play in this tournament. I am sure Live Love Lax is not happy.

Yep, feel badly for the other team too.

0-4 against the top teams in the country. It's always funny when parents who have kids playing in the 12th bracket down go 2-2 vs. a bunch of kids that can't catch and then come on here and talk smack. And I'm a Pride parent!
